Marvel Releases Newest “Weekly Watcher”

Marvel pimps it’s new releases in the Weekly Watcher for December 5, 2008. In this weeks edition pumps up Secret Invasion #8, Secret Invasion: Front Line #5, New Avengers #47, the new Punisher: War Zone movie, What If: House of M #1, Ultimatum #2, Marvels: Eye of the Camera #1, X-Men Noir #1, and Immortal Iron Fist #20. Check it out for Marvel’s (admittedly corny) take on this week’s releases.

New Featurette Released for Upcoming “The Spirit” Movie

Lion’s gate has released a new featurette for the upcoming move The Spirit. This third featurette focuses on the Spirit’s one true love—the city he fights to protect. Central City is based on New York, but includes elements from different decades. For example, although there are elements of the 40s, the movie takes place in a modern world. Director Frank Miller points out that in this world, cars look better, men wear hats, and women dressed to the nines.
